Denny's Hobbit Menu

In anticipation of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Denny's has introduced an entire Hobbit/Middle Earth menu. Pictured above, Gandalf's Gobble Melt, full of magical turkey, stuffing, and cheese among other culinary wizardry. Don’t forget the Hobbit fries (not made from real Hobbit, I swear).

That looks disgusting. However, the pile of food is sort of shaped like Gandalf's hat so I suppose I can see the motivation for the name.

Hmmm, I might have to pass on this Middle Earth feast.

Just for the record, it doesn't look all that great to me either.

I just report the news. I don't always eat it. ;-)

no, that's the ring burger pictured (A hand-pressed burger topped with Pepper Jack cheese, bacon, sautéed mushrooms and mayo on a grilled Cheddar cheese bun. Crowned with three crispy onion rings and served with lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles and a side of wavy-cut French fries. Dwarves and hobbits, dig in!) http://dennys.com/#/menu/menu-46

Wait, so it's three onion rings to rule us all?

You have to admit, it -does- look like Gandalf's hat...
